...and the STOMP award goes to... Soave Records! 🎉
Soave Records just earned an awesome award, and we can't wait to tell you about it! We have been honored with the Young Achievement Award from from the Independent Music Producers Foundation (a.k.a. STOMP)! We got the big news at STOMP Members' Day in Hilversum, which, by the way, is now officially our new favorite place.
Jan-Hendrik Vervelde, our founder, received the Young Achievement Award in recognition of Soave’s rise in the electronic music scene. When we started back in 2017, we were in a cozy little office in the heart of Rotterdam. Fast forward to 2024, and here we are: a team of over 25, with billions of streams and artists like Braaheim, De Hofnar, and Kav Verhouzer on board.
The jury report celebrated Soave, saying, “Soave Records has grown into a phenomenon in the international electronic music world in a short period of time. With a sharp focus on new EDM talent and an innovative approach to digital marketing, Jan-Hendrik Vervelde has built an inspiring label. The music industry has been changing rapidly, and it is fantastic to see young entrepreneurs in the Netherlands who deal with this creatively. Jan-Hendrik and his team show you can be hugely successful outside the beaten track, and that is an inspiration to us all. That is why Soave Records deserves the STOMP Young Achievement Award.”
It’s a big honor to be recognized for doing things a bit differently in a rapidly changing industry. We’re in excellent company, joining past award winners like Chillhop Music, Tim van der Zalm (DI-RECT), Excited About Music, and LAB Music.
